Who We Are
Jersey State Controls has been providing facility automation systems to New Jersey’s commercial building market since 1983. Founders Mark and John Crescenzo, Sr. started the company from humble beginnings selling small energy management systems to restaurants and retail stores. That work led to installing true building automation systems in facilities such as Verizon, Public Service Electric and Gas and many public schools.
More complex installations followed including work in pharmaceutical labs, hundred plus building complexes (McGuire Air Force Base) and even a professional soccer stadium (New York RedBulls). Jersey State Controls evolved as a “major player” securing controls work in the new construction marketplace. Competing with the industry’s giants, JSC is committed to quality and “delivering more and better service than the customer expects”.
That credo, still in place, greatly contributed to the success that the company enjoys today. As company President, Mark Crescenzo states, “This is a SERVICE based business. To be successful, you need to be able to respond quickly to a client’s needs anytime, day or night, midweek or holiday. Without that depth of service capabilities, you shouldn’t be in this business!”
JSC has acquired a solid reputation in the industry with a long list of satisfied clients. This client list includes Owners, Construction Managers, General Contractors and Mechanical Construction companies. JSC has grown into one of the largest and most recognized, independent Control Companies in New Jersey and provides HVAC Controls / DDC Systems and HVAC service. Over 40 talented JSC employees work to deliver a high-quality product and outstanding service to our diverse customer client base. Jersey State Controls Co. is pre-qualified by the State of New Jersey Treasury Department (Division of Building and Construction) and the Schools Development Agency. It is also licensed by the state of NJ as a HVACR master contractor and owns JSC Electric, a licensed electrical contractor. The company is bonded by a triple AAA rated Surety and has established a stellar list of Clients along with a reputation of providing quality systems at competitive rates.
